La Bodega de Santiago is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century Canarian house in the heart of Yaiza, one of Lanzarote's most picturesque villages. The space blends history, tradition and local culture into a setting that feels both intimate and alive — a winery-restaurant where the architecture itself tells a story. Beneath the shade of an ancient rubber tree on the terrace, guests can settle in and let the pace of the island take over.

The kitchen, led by Chef Gonzalo Calzadilla, follows the rhythm of the market. The menu carries a strong Canarian accent, built around local Lanzarote ingredients and fresh fish sourced from across the archipelago. It is honest, seasonal cooking that respects its roots — and it earns its place on the table. Gluten-free and vegan options are available for those with dietary requirements.

La Bodega de Santiago is open Tuesday to Saturday from 13:00 to 23:30, and closed on Sundays and Mondays. The restaurant has its own car park, making it easy to reach from anywhere on the island. Reservations are recommended, especially during busier periods.
